MacMillian Coffee Morning-Huge thank you! £314.79 raised!

Wow! We have been absolutley blown away by all the very kind donations of cakes and goodies for our coffee morning today. Thank you so, so much! Thank you to those of you who came and enjoyed the delicious treats and kindly made donations for Macmillian. Thank you also to those parents who couldn’t make it in to school today but who sent in donations for their child/ren to have a treat too! There was a lovely atmosphere in the hall, lots of chatter and smiles.

It was a fabulous morning and an absolute pleasure to be able to come into school to share and enjoy such a special event. The children were very well behaved, kind, brave, confident and helpful – such a wonderful sight to see. Thank you to all the staff for organising and all the hard work involved.

A special thank you to our Class Ambassadors and some of our Year 6 children who helped the event to run smoothly. Not forgetting all our staff that help the morning be a huge success. Thank you!

Upcoming events

Christmas Theme Day-Wednesday 20th December

This year, we plan on doing our Christmas fundraising and fun differently.

On Wednesday 20th December, we will be having a Christmas Fun Takeover Day, which will include the following:

  • Christmas Party Food for all the children
  • Christmas Discos
  • Party games
  • Non-Uniform day
  • Each child will leave with a £2 lucky dip gift. On Friday 15th December please can all children bring in a unisex gift wrapped, spending no more than £2 (this is instead of bringing in chocolate/sweets and bottles for the tombolas) to enable us to be able to do this.
  • A special visitor will also be attending… and much more.

We are asking for a £5 donation for this day, which can be made through SCOPAY, this will cover the cost of the activities listed above for the children and will help raise funds for our school.

This year we will not be doing a Christmas fair. We are encouraging you to enjoy the festive light switch-on in the village on this evening instead.

Thanks for all your support so far with our fundraising activity,

Many thanks Amy
